Johnson says Biden’s Supreme Court overhaul ‘dead on arrival’ in House

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The leading Republican in Congress, Mike Johnson, on Monday that President Joe Biden’s Supreme Court reform proposal would not be considered by the House. Speaker Johnson in a statement called the proposal an effort to “delegitimize the Court.” Biden is expected on Monday to propose sweeping reforms to the Supreme Court, including term limits and a binding code of conduct for its nine justices.
